05/31/21 Knit and Crochet Ministry begins again!
Through God's provision, we are excited to once again begin our teaching ministry to help women learn a hand-craft that enables them to stay at home while earning an income to help provide for their family. Our goal is not only to teach a skill, but also educate them to the potential of becoming a small business owner which will include understanding money management to allow a continued flow to purchase more supplies. Please pray for God to provide the proper guidance and persons to make this a success.
We currently have donated supplies to begin our teachings, but our goal is to continue grow and teach new skills. This will require more tools and supplies. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

05/07/21 Guatemala Here We COME!!!
We have been patiently waiting for this day to come. God is Good and has provided for us to lead a Team back to Guatemala this June. We have a tentative plan to build a home for one of the families on our list. We will also be working with our Mission partners and updating a building that will one day provide team housing while serving in the community. It is also in the planning stages to do some teaching to some of the women to help provide an income while still being able to stay home with their children. It is amazing to see how God provides us with all of the tools we need to accomplish His Plan.
Back to Work in 2021
As you are well aware, 2020 was definitely a year that was one to remember. Thankfully, things are slowly progressing toward our new normal way of living. Eternal Impact Missions is moving forward and looking forward to the plans God has in store for us. It is our hope to be able to pour ourselves back into the vision God has laid on our hearts in Guatemala and we are beginning to plan for our next visit this summer. More details will soon follow. In the meantime, please keep us and our partners in prayer for Gods clear voice to be heard.
10/5/20 To own a HOUSE brings independence from rent..
09/12/20 We are back to building HOUSES!!!
What a hard time it has been for our families on the waiting list. Finally they can sleep under their own roof. After several months giving out food to different villages, now its time for a new house! God is faithful.
04/05/20 And now we wait...
For now Corona virus does not let us continue building houses for our waiting families in need. But, more than ever, with our hearts and minds we are praying that soon we can start again. Stay strong!
03/12/20 A HOUSE for an elderly couple...
02/27/20 A new HOUSE for a big family...
02/19/20 3 Homes and Pinatas!!!
3 new HOUSES & Piñatas look at all those excited faces & joy! Feel the love of Jesus!
A look at 2019...
Let’s take a look back at 2019... more than 40 houses have been given to families in need. Thanks to God and all the kind supporters he sent. We’re happy to share these pictures with you of Guatemalans helping Guatemalans. God bless all the families.
No Words...
On June 3rd 2018, the unexpected happened! The eruption of Volcan Fuego took everyone by surprise and left at least 190 people dead, 57 injured, and 256 remained missing as of 30 July 2018. While immediate help and recovery took place, the effects have left many still without a place to call home.
There is so much need and so many ways to help, after watching this video, won't you please share with us what God is putting on your heart to help make a difference.
Thanks to our videographer, Ron Widbin, who captured a little bit of what we are about...

Contribute to our Housing Project in GUATEMALA
Since our first homes constructed in October, 2017, we can complete an average of 2 homes during a one week stay, with and average Team size of 8. Why not consider joining us on our next journey to Guatemala for a life changing experience of Love and Service. This is the beginning of a NEW Project we began looking into while we were living there, and with the assistance of our Home Church in Guatemala, we hope to make it part of our bi-yearly mission trip that you too, can be part.
You can help with a donation of any amount and be confident that it will be put to good use as we fill needs of those God guides us to. As we accumulate funds, we will keep you up-to-date of our progress and the families who we hope to bless with a NEW HOME.

Join us in Welcoming the Newest Members of our Mission Family
Juan David Jimenez, Liaison in Guatemala... We have known Juan David since 2011 and have had the privilege to watch him grow into a trustworthy God Loving man. His passion for music and his servant heart go beyond what is the norm. We are proud to have him working with us as our eyes and ears in the community where we serve, Magdalena Milpas Altas, Guatemala. Juan is a lifelong member of the community and along with other members of our Home Church in Magdalena, has helped us immensely with our selection process for our Housing Ministry. Juan has also began many other ministries to help fill the needs of the people of the community. |
Mike Holmes, Vice President...
Mike accepted the Lord in 1995 and his very first mission trip was to Quito, Ecuador in 2000. He then went on a short-term mission trip with Eternal Impact in Jamaica in 2009 and has been consistently serving in Guatemala since 2011. Mike has a servant’s heart and has a desire to see others hear the gospel and grow in their faith. He is currently pursuing his MDiv in pastoral ministries. His greatest joy is serving alongside his wife of twenty-two years, Colleen, and his two adult children, Aaron and Victoria, who all have been to Guatemala numerous times with Eternal Impact Missions. Mike accepted the role of Vice President of Eternal Impact Missions in August 2018. |

Physical Therapy Ministry...
The needs of the physically challenged in most pueblos in Guatemala are just that, a challenge. With almost non existent local resources, many need to travel to larger cities for their care. This not only involves paying for transportation, but also for treatment which many families do not have. In an effort to help with some of these needs,

From Butch and Terry Alcorn in Guatemala...
It was an exciting time this week as we began distribution of your donated Water Filters. We will continue to post photos and advise the donors via email of our progress.
Even though our initial drive has ended, the need has not. We will gladly accept your donation at any time. What a wonderful gift this would make for a needy family for Christmas. You may also want to think about donating a Water Filter in honor or memory of a friend or relative.

Saturate Magdalena with Clean Water
Join us on our continuing mission to change the lives of the people in our community in Guatemala. With your support, our goal is to place one of these water filtration systems in 50 homes in our community by the end of October.
The need is enormous, the effect is life changing and the cost is minimal when you consider the impact it can have on just a single family.
For a mere $42.00 you can partner with us to provide clean drinking water for a family of 5 to 6 people for 2 years.

Comments from a few of our donors...
Our Personal Testimony…
We have seen much improvement in the families where we have placed these filters. Decrease in stomach/intestinal problems, less general sickness (coughs, colds and flu). We would like to see more families benefit from drinking clean water. We also, have been using this filtration system in our home for a few years now, and believe it would be beneficial to every family to have one in their home. For us, it saves on the cost of purchasing bottled water, for our neighbors who can't even afford bottled water, here are some of the benefits this system provides...
· Reduces diarrhea over 50% along with other intestinal infections
· Reduces respiratory infections, caused by the open fires used to boil contaminated water
· Reduces absenteeism at work and school
· Increases health and productivity
· Reduces firewood expenses and time for no longer needing to boil water on an open fire
· Reduces medicine costs required to treat a stomach illness caused by unfiltered water
· No more purchases of bottled water
